I have a new computer, and I have not loaded the operating system once. Therefore, I have not created any accounts. However, when select the System Recovery, most of the Advanced Options require I enter the password on an administrator account.
Why are these options asking for a password if I have not created any accounts?
Why when I click the reset password link, I get the message "This list only shows administrator accounts that have previously signed in to this PC, and does not include standard user or domain accounts. You need to be signed in as an administrator to use some repair and restore tools. If you don't have a password for any of these accounts, you can restart to try signing in to Windows to manage your user accounts." if I have not loaded Windows et all.
This video illustrates what I am experiencing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fEfmZGIepU4
I made my question differently, and a forum moderator locked the post implying that I am asking for "instructions or directions intended to bypass or subvert security measures, including passwords, locking mechanisms, fingerprint scans, etc., or to bypass any safety measures." https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Operating-System-and-Recovery/System-Recovery-Troubleshoot-Ad... What I am asking is for an explanation to what I am experiencing. Why am I being asked for an administrator password of an account that has previously signed to the PC when I have not created any account; when in fact, I have not loaded the operating system et all.
Thank you

Hello
you are sure you have the same problem as in this video, or so is your video, i did not understand
because firstly here we see the user entering a boot password, so something has already been done at least on this side ...
but above all, then we select troubleshoot advanced options command prompt
the message indicates that this only lists the administrator accounts that have been registered, except, if there is no account, it may be a bit normal that nothing is listed precisely
now if I understood correctly, the computer was not started normally, if you start it you will be fixed, this should open the preinstallation, if this is not the case, then you will have to contact the seller, to find out what it is!
