HP Pavilion Gaming - TG01-0160xt CTO
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I bought this PC about 2 months ago and now I have a question. If I was to buy a new tower, would I be able to transfer the Parts into a new tower and add new things, or is that not possible with these PCs? Just curious because I would like to get a new tower and add some much higher quality parts coming up so I can play competitive gaming. Thanks in advance for any info!

hi

Damage not covered by the HP Standard Limited Warranty

 read this first

you may have difficulties, for certain elements (connectors difficult to connect for example)
in this case it is better to design your computer from A to Z
I prefer to warn you, but you can always try ..
only if you then have a problem will you have to put everything back in the original tower, and not break anything!
Hp could not support the computer in warranty

@Traplol

I looked at the specs for this model and the only internal items that make sense to migrate are the memory sticks and the 3TB HDD. The memory is moveable because even though DDR5 has been talked about, as far as I know, there are no motherboards that have that yet.  So any new PC is probably still going to be DDR4.

You can't migrate the SSD, because the Windows on it is tied to your machine and can not be migrated to another machine.

The video, at least in the stock model, is integrated; so unless you have added a video card, that is not migratable, either.

Audio is built into the motherboard, so there is no sound card to be migrated, either.

Not really a lot of parts to migrate.
