Whenever I put this devices to sleep even though its update, this devices crashes in sleep mode where my only way of getting it up and running/waking it up is through a hard reset

Hi,

Please describe what the PC crashes while sleeping means; does this mean the PC will not wake? So you have to shutdown and restart the PC.

What version of Windows 10 are you using?

The problem usually means you need newer drivers or you could have Windows file system corruption.

Check the OS by running DISM and sfc commands described at this (Link).

Check your PC's HP Support site for newer drivers. The latest version of Windows 10 was having some issues. Check Windows update again.

Hi

Yes whenever it goes to sleep, i can't get it woken back up.

My Os Version is WIN 10  20H2.

I did the SFC scan thing and it didn't find any issues.

I can try another windows update and see how that goes.

Hi,

I had this problem after upgrading to 20H2.

There was a cumulative update to Windows that helped with this problem. Check Windows update a couple of times.

My PC appeared to shutdown after sleeping overnight. I had to hit the power button to turn on the PC. I noticed the PC was really sleeping when checking the up time in Task Manager though it appeared to be off.

So I also ran this command at an administrative command prompt powercfg.exe /hibernate off
