Hello everyone! I am not sure what exact computer I own, as I am unable to check, but I know it is an HP Windows 10 (64-bit). Earlier today, I was watching a movie on my PC and it randomly shut off. I didn't think much of it, sometimes because I kick my feet a lot unknowingly I unplug the cord or accidentally adjust it the wrong way. I was a bit frustrated, so I checked the plug, and it was still completely plugged in, so I checked my PC screen and it was on the loading HP screen. I'm used to it of course, but the odd thing is, it would freeze mid loading. You know that icon that spins to indicate it's loading? Yeah, it would just... Stop randomly. At that point, I kinda knew I was screwed. I tried every solution I could find, but it only showed me the same 3 things, CMOS checksum error, the frozen loading screen, or the frozen loading screen just with "PREPARING SYSTEM REPAIRS" or something. I cannot access anything on my computer, and I cannot afford to get it fixed. Could anyone please give me some advice of anything else I can try at home? I have tried turning it on and off, hard resetting it, unplugging it and plugging it back in, pressing thousands of key combinations, etc. Thank you!

Welcome to the HP support community.

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).

If you are unfamiliar with how the Community's private message capability works, you can learn about that here.

Thank you for visiting the HP Support Community.
