Hello. My laptop memory card reader not working and I can not find PCI Device and SM Bus Controller driver to my HP ENVY 13-ag0000 x360 Convertible PC since I upgraded my laptop from win 10 to 11.

Hi:

 

You should be able to get around that problem easy enough.

 

Manually install the driver as follows:

 

Go to the device manager.

 

Click on the PCI device needing the driver.

 

Click on the driver tab.

 

Click on Update driver.

 

Select the 'Browse my computer for drivers' option and browse to the driver folder that was created when you ran the file.

 

That folder will be located in C:\SWSetup\sp96384.

 

Make sure that the Include subfolders box is checked, and the driver should install.

Hi:

 

For the SMBus controller, install the W11 AMD chipset driver for Ryzen notebooks; from the AMD website at the link below:

 

AMD Ryzen™ and Athlon™ Mobile (Chipset) Drivers

 

For the PCI device (card reader), you need this driver:

 

Realtek Card Reader Driver

 

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp96001-96500/sp96384.exe

HI. I installed the chipset driver successfully but not able to install PCI device. It says the driver is not supported for this OS version.
