ok guys i did it! It was a little bit complecated becouse the bios xmc cannot be found on the ASprogrammer so i put in as a chip a w25q and it worked very well. The last thing im gonna do is use hp cloud tool to reboot my pc on the factory informations. The problem is that the id product, which is 24D93EA, is not correct. Anyone can help me finding the right Id Product?

Hi @IronDark14

I'm not sure what you are looking for?

The TP01-1011nl product ID is 24D93EA.

The generic TP01-1000i product ID is 1K4B6AV.

Hi @IronDark14

I see, the BIOS update has modified the HP BIOS DMI information.

So the TP01-1011nl product ID (24D93EA) does not match the BIOS on your MB since you flashed the BIOS using the TP01-1000i BIOS.

You had no other option since there was no BIOS available for your specific PC. I don't understand why HP would not offer BIOS updates for your specific PC?

Try using 1K4B6AV with the HP Cloud Recovery Tool to see what happens.

The HP BIOS DMI information would have to modified if you can't use 1K4B6AV.

I have no info on how to get the HP DMI Tool you need so you can change BIOS product settings.

Maybe a different Forum member can assist.

You could download W11 and install Windows 11 clean at the Microsoft W11 download site. You may have an activation problem. But I'm also thinking maybe the new BIOS would also have a Windows OEM product key embedded in the BIOS.

So a clean W11 install might activate.

Just so you know, HP no longer makes the DMI tool available, so there is no way to get it.

Hi @WAWood

Thanks for the info.

I'm thinking @IronDark14 should try the second HP product ID associated with the new BIOS.

It should work.

Hi @IronDark14

1K4B6AV should have worked.

You might have to use Microsoft Windows installation media at this Site. You might have a Windows activation problem if HP Cloud Recovery has a problem with the 1K4B6AV product ID.

HP factory service could fix this but I don't know if it would be cost effective.

I am out of ideas. At least the PC is working again.

ok guys so i found out that i had to put as a product id 24D93EA#ABZ and it worked, so i had created a flash usb with the support for the pc cloud recovery. The problem is that when i try to open it from the boot menu (F9), it gives me this error,

This computer is not supported by the System Recovery Media

You will not be able to continue to recover this system with these Media

Error:

0100-8643-8767#C_HOLI,8767#C_HOLGI,8767#C_HOLGIP,8767#C_HOLCI,

Someone knows how to fix it?

Hi @IronDark14

The problem you now have was caused by a bad BIOS update.

And HP offers no BIOS updates or driver updates for your PC at the HP Support site for your PC, at least I could not find any.

So you had to use a BIOS update from a different HP PC having an identical MB but a different product number

As @WAWood stated, the DMI tool needed to fix the embedded BIOS information is not available. I am not aware of any other way to fix the incorrect BIOS information.

You would have to use HP Support to fix the MB firmware info for your PC to use the HP Cloud Recovery option or download and install W11 clean as suggested in a previous response.
