Power but will not turn on

Have a desktop HP Envy 700-074 series (2014). I mistaken plugged a smaller usb cord into one of my usb ports, was not paying attention, (computer threw a message, device requires more power) pulled cord out and placed into another usb port beside the first, the computer shutdown and will not re start. Have tried reboot, disconnect all cords, drain any static charge, the power light in back of computer in on but, computer will not turn on....

It is not a good sign
but what exactly did you connect, because just a cable, on its own, shouldn't change anything!
It does not start , but no longer exactly, what are the signs, or not, nothing at all?
