Hi I really need you guys to help me out with this one, today i performed a recovery process on which i tried to factory reset my device, I went to Adv.Options at the moment of boot and did everything as supossed (Recovery Manager, Chose reset to factory settings option) at the end I got this message saying de restoration process wasnt completed successsfully and now I need help because I cant go back to how my windows was, everytime I turn on the computer, Windows starts up and logs into my account and this Restoration incomplete message shows up, if I do Cntrl Alt Supr I can log off and log on normally to my account but I ALWAYS need to do the Cntrl Alt Supr command. I need to put my computer how exactly how it was before the restorarion process, any tip? Help!

Hi:

Your PC should be supported by the HP cloud recovery tool which you can use to make a bootable USB recovery drive that will reinstall W10, the drivers and the software that originally came with your PC--this will basically do the same thing as a factory reset.

You will need to create the media using another Windows PC with W7 x64 or newer on it, if your PC is not working.

Here is an info link for how to use that utility,

You can see if your specific model notebook is supported by entering the product number in the box at the link below...

Hey Paul, thanks for your reply, sadly I dont have a USB drive to help me with, before this attempt the OS was running fine, not okay, but it wasnt ''corrupted''. Is there anyway to go back to that point?

I cant access the cloud since this is the only computer in my house, I managed to entry the administrator account by logging me off trhough the Ctrl Alt Supr command  and then loggin me in again. This override the Restauration Incomplete interface and let me use the normal Windows interface. This has to be something, right?

You're very welcome.

The only suggestion I can offer would be to create a new user profile and delete the old one.
