I disabled the hard drive as a boot option, saved the changes. It reboots then and then I changed it back to USB Hard Drive enabled and put the SATA drive on disabled, then it rebooted again after I saved the changes. But it does not show  any options under Hard Drive in the F9 menu. 

 

I do have the UEFI Boot Sources disabled, should I change that?

In the end I just had to  go to the File part in the BIOS Computer Setup and press "apply defaults and exit".

This made the USB drive visible as a boot source in the boot menu.

Glad you got the PC to boot from the flash drive.

 

I guess I should have suggested that you try that first.
