I have an HP Omen 30L pre-built. I was on Bios version F.13 which was a version that finally allowed you to select the XMP profile in the BIOS. My memory is 3600mhz Corsair. A few days ago I saw an optional firmware update which I went ahead and did, thinking it couldn't hurt anything. Now I'm on version F.14 and now in the advanced menu in BIOS, I only have a default or custom option for memory. XMP no longer is shown in BIOS. So now I'm running at 2133mhz instead of 3600mhz which Is killing my FPS while gaming. I tried manually putting in XMP values and it fails every time and says the Cmos is resetting which just reverts back to 2133mhz. I can't figure a way to revert to the F.13 bios and I'm extremely frustrated at this point. I tried removing the battery off the motherboard but that did not successfully reset my bios to default, it's still on F.14. The hp bios is so limited, I don't have an option to Flash a different bios or anything

It is very rare that one can roll back the bios
You did not list your product ID so I had to guess as to the correct bios and guessed GT13-1000i which give me a 1 out of 4 possibility, maybe even less
Bios F15 for SSID 886C (GT13-1000i) fixes a problem with overclocking memory
Please post your product ID and model GTxxxx etc

It says GT13-1000a (207P7AV)
When I search for Bios updates only f.13 shows up, but it won't let me install because it says it's older than my current version. F.14 is messed up for sure where I can't select XMP profile.
F.13 worked fine, I just assumed it was okay to update to newer versions as they came available, I didn't expect it to completely ruin my gaming experience by making my RAM run at 2133mhz

Can you provide the link for bios F14 ?
I am guessing that it was a mod of the bios for GT13-1000i as all I can find is F13 for your system
