HP Compaq dc5800 Microtower PC
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My computer previously had W7.........I used the free upgrade to W10 a while back. My PC has been displaying different messages daily, usually about the need to upgrade to the latest version of W10............the version in my PC is from 2015. I have also received a message stating that this PC cannot run using W10. Anyone else have this issue ??

@Spikey58, welcome back to the forum.

Here is a guide that shows the HP Products Tested with Windows 10.  I quickly looked through it and couldn't find your model.  I suggest that you read through it yourself.  The latest version of Win 10 is the Fall Creators Update (1709).  This is most likely why you are receiving these messages.  HP states in the document that I provided that they will not be developing drivers for any computer built before August 2013.

Thank you "geekster" for the info. Turns out that my PC is not capable of updating to the latest version of W10. I did find an article showing how to stop the updates from happening....time will tell if it worked or not.

I also like your quote about God 🙂
