Hi @cbarchuk
I would avoid the last HP BIOS update under any circumstances.
I would use HP if you are in warranty and HP honors the warranty.
It may be less expensive to replace the MB on your own otherwise.
A local PC tech could probably reprogram the BIOS, back up data, and reinstall the operating system at a very reasonable rate. The major expense would be labor.

Unfortunately the technician last night updated my BIOS to most recent one again after doing a fresh install of Win 11 from Microsoft. My warranty just expired as my computer is barely a year old. I purchased it in December of 2021. If I go the route of using a local PC tech, is it better and/or cheaper to have them replace the MB or to reprogram the BIOS?

Hi @cbarchuk
You were able to reinstall the operating system. That is encouraging.
Check this site https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/swdetails/hp-pavilion-27-inch-all-in-one-desktop-pc...
Scroll down to revision history. Scroll down to F.16 Rev. A. Download. Download and try to install this. It may be blocked because HP usually does not allow this operation.

Hi @cbarchuk
BIOS reprogramming would be much cheaper and much quicker using the Aptio V AMI Firmware Update Utility.
The tech could use the BIOS version F.16 Rev. A to reprogram the BIOS.

Bill
We were able to find a temporary fix until HP Rolls Out a New BIOS Update. We have different Models
but we are having the same problem as you guys. Please see the Solution listed under Fortran.
It all has to do with the CLOCK!
