Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My hard drive failed, and I don't see a recovery disk for my system in the list of software. Am I just out of luck?

Hi:

Your PC is supported by the HP cloud recovery tool.

Use another PC running Windows 7 64 bit or newer and the HP cloud recovery tool to create a bootable USB recovery drive that will reinstall W10, the drivers and the software that originally came with your notebook.

Here is an info link for how to use the cloud recovery tool...You will need a 32 GB USB flash drive to create the recovery drive with.
