The Recovery Manager should allow DVD's as the media.  Be sure you have enough of the blank disks before you start and do not use DVD-RW disks.  Use DVD-R or DVD+R

If this is a new laptop, then it might have Windows 10 from the factory.  The method to make the Recovery Disk set for Windows 10 is found IN THIS GUIDE.  If the Recovery Manager and Windows 10 came with the PC, you can make your own Recovery Disk set.  Look AT THIS GUIDE, scroll down to Factory Reset using media you created, for directions on how to make the Recovery Media disk set.
