You're very welcome.
I guess all HP support can do is sell you official HP windows software, and since they don't have any to sell, there isn't much they can/will do to help.
The usual banter you get is: HP tells you to call Microsoft. Then you call Microsoft, and they tell you to call HP.
That is why these forums are helpful.
We learn from each other, and share info about many subjects.
I learned about that website from another forum member a few months ago.

> I see that Norway is not an EU country.
Correct.
Norway has too much money from their production of oil, gas, herring, paper-clips, cheese-slicers, and lutefisk to have a "need" to have membership in the EU.
Norway also has a 25% MOMS ("Value Added Tax" or "Goods and Services Tax") embedded in the retail price of everything, to fund their social welfare systems.
Watch for Norway to collect a bunch of Gold Medals at the 2018 Winter Olympics, early next year.
If you're not skiing, you are not in Norway.

Hi, @brian_nickerson :
I have no control on how long the links last. That is a barrier put in there from the below website.
Here is the link to the site where you can get the files yourself...
This site claims to have genuine, unadulterated W7 ISO files for download...
https://www.heidoc.net/joomla/technology-science/microsoft/67-microsoft-windows-iso-download-tool
Click on the link labeled Windows ISO Downloader.exe
You can use the:
Win 7 Home SP1 COEM (This version would be for what HP would have used--System Builder)
N is for European Union (EU) countries.
K is for South Korean markets.
Then you can use this tool to transfer the file to a 4 GB USB flash drive or a DVD.
