Purchased HP Pavilion 590 p01000na in 2018.

I wish to obtain the Product Key number that the machine keeps asking for.

Hi:

 

Your PC's product key is encrypted in the PC's BIOS.

 

You can install the free Showkey plus app from the Microsoft Store, and it will show you the Windows product key.

 

ShowKeyPlus - Microsoft Store Apps

 

Something is wrong if Windows is asking for a product key.

 

After you run the report, if the installed key is different than the OEM key, change the installed key to the OEM key in the PC settings menu to activate Windows.
