I have an all in one HP which I love, despite the fact that the processor is slowwwwww. Should have checked on that when I got it. However, that is not my issue. The DVD player has trouble reading DVDs and does ot read CDs at all. I am almost sure this is a software issue, because I have an external dvd player and is the same problem, and the external works fine with other computers. I have search the forum, and there are people with the same problem, and I have done all the things suggested with no luck, so I am thinking on resetting the computer to its factory setting, and that should solve it. However, my PC had originally windows 8, and then was upgraded for free to 8.1. I like 8.1. I am guessing the reset will be to windows 8, and my cuestion is: will I able to upgrade to 8.1 after the reset? or is this a one time thing? Thank you.

Hi:
Yes, you can upgrade back to W8.1 for free from the Windows Store after you do the required updates to W8 after you reset the PC.
