HP Pavilion All-in-One - 24-xa0057c

Hello - I'm trying to do a reset on my PC and when I get to 'getting things ready' after about 15 minutes I get a message "There was a problem while resetting your PC".  Does HP provide a copy of windows for reset/recovery so I can download and load onto a USB?   I'm at the point of just wanting to start new with this PC and reload Windows.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks!

Unfortunately, that will not be possible.

 

I have noticed in the last few months that HP seems to be removing cloud recovery tool support for PC's 5 years or older.

 

Hundreds of models that used to be supported by the cloud recovery tool no longer are.

 

That leaves you with the only free option of clean installing W10 by making bootable installation media with the Media creation tool from the links below:

 

Download Windows 10 (microsoft.com)

 

After W10 has completed installing, you can install the drivers and available software from your PC's support page.

If you want the original HP factory recovery image, you can order a recovery kit from this vendor at the link below:
