My computer works fine when I start up. But on occasion, after it sits and goes dark and I return in a few hours, the screen is about 130% larger and the taskbar is out of sight below the screen and all margins are outside the display. I have tried various things to no avail. I end up having to blindly find the restart and doing that to get it to reboot and be normal. But if I go away again, the problem recurs. Any advice?
Thanks.

Welcome to the HP Support Community!
I reviewed your post and I understand that the screen resolution changes after waking up the computer from sleep mode.
Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.
I recommend you update the BIOS and the graphics driver from the below link and check if it helps.
