Hi,

I noticed that my HP assisstant recommended certain actions be taken regards security, notably that I needed to activate my User Account Control, which I subsequently did. This said, the HP Assisstant still insists that it is deactivated (as shown in picture). Is there something else that needs to be changed?

Thanks

I have a few troubleshooting steps we could try to fix the issue:

Firstly, change the sliding bar to the 2nd slot and restart your computer and check. If the issue persists continue next step

  1. Press Windows Key+X on your keyboard to display the Tools Menu and select Control Panel. Or, right-click the lower left corner of your monitor to display the Tools Menu and select Control Panel.
  2. Type UAC in the search field in the upper right corner of the window.
  3. Click Change User Account Control settings in the search results.
  4. Then do one of the following:
    • To turn UAC off, drag the slider down to Never notify, and click OK.
    • To turn UAC on, drag the slider up to the desired level of security, and click OK.
  5. You may be prompted to confirm your selection or enter an administrator password.
  6. Reboot your computer for the change to take effect.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
