HP ALL IN ONE -22
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello Community,

My AIO Harddisk got corrupted, hence being under Warranty period, I got it replaced by new one today. When I inserted HP Recovery CD, process almost completed, but at the end it failed to set up completely. The HP virtual agent is just playing marry go round with me. If I were a technical know-how, I would not post my query here, rather would resolve it by self. HP is leaving everything up to customers. Looks like we make a mistake by purchasing HP products.

@ARPANAIO

Last time I used HP Recovery Media on optical disk, it was a SET of three DVDs and a single driver CD.

If you are inserting only the CD, that is not going to recover the PC -- it needs the DVDs as well.

Thank you so much for response. I received the set of 4 CDs/DVDs, I dont know what exactly they are. Even if they are 3 DVDs and 1 CD (with driver), I get the same status as RECOVERY FAILED.

Then sorry, I don't know what to tell you -- as restore failures are most often caused by folks attempting to use a drive that is failing and you said you replaced yours.
