So I have the issue with my laptop not starting up so I went on the startup screen, pressed f2 and did the quick and fast scan.  Both times I’ve had the Short DST check fail and every other one pass.  I don’t know what to do. Any help from you wise wizards?

Hi

You have a failed/failing HDD.

MAKE BACKUPS OF YOUR DATA.

 

Next make a Recovery Media.  Buy a replacement HDD.
