HP desktop. 24-g206a. I can see the party I called but they cannot see me.

Given the date of your post, I would have expected someone to respond to it before this -- but since that has not happened, I will take a shot at it ...

I don't use Skype -- so I can't help you with that, but I do use Zoom -- and the app has an option to see what the camera sees -- which will tell you if your camera is working.

 

Download and install Zoom from here:  Download Center - Zoom 

 

Start it, and when the window opens, select the "cog" icon -- settings.  Then select video -- and look at the window to see what your camera sees.  If you see yourself in that window, then the camera is working and the problem is with Skype -- and you would have to contact their support.
