Yep, same problem. The lastest BIOS update from good old HP has completely crashed my desk top. PC only 2 years old. So i purchased a care pack as it said it would cover my PC but HP say the care pack does not cover my PC. Awaiting for a response from Besterve, but as usual no reponse! Basically its HPs update that has damaged the PC in my case. This has happened a few times now and results in either a motherboard change or a new PC.

Hi. Yes, I have done all of those actions incluing those as per the BIOS recovery link. I think part of the issue is that the DESK TOP PC is not responding to the keyboard so any of the actions given that invlove the keyboard do not work. It does not matter if I use a blue tooth key board, or a wired key board. It does not matter which USB port I use. I have also tried booting from a disc in the optical drive but this has no effect. It seems to me as though the USB ports will not detect any action. This is also preventing me from gaining access to BIOS to for example change boot order. There is nothing on the display, no flashing cursor, no logo. I have swapped the GPU, changed all cables, changed the monitor, changed the monitor connections from HDMI to display port to VGA. As mentioned I have carried out all of the actions in this link HP Desktop PCs - Recovering the BIOS (Basic Input Output System)
Any other advice welcomed. Regards.
