Product: HP ENVY All-in-One - 27-p010xt CTO (Touch)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Help!   I bought a used HP All In One 27-p010xt CTO desktop.

The previous owner did a Reset in Windows 10 and erased the hard disk.   This also erased the System Recovery partition!   

 

Does anyone have a copy of the partition on USB?   I'd gladly pay for shipping and the cost of the USB.

Hi:

 

You can't just put a recovery partition on the PC.

 

That is because if the person formatted the hard drive, it also erased the program required for the recovery partition to operate.

 

If you want the original HP factory image on your PC, the only place I know of where you can order recovery media would be from this vendor at the link below, but they only have the W10 Pro recovery media which will not work on our PC if it came with W10 Home.

Whether or not that image will also include the recovery partition, that I do not know.
