HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop PC TG01-1000a (2W848AV)

My son said he didnt let his pc finish updating and turned it off when he turned the pc back on later it started beeping and went to a black screen and a blue box came up that said ( THE BIOS RECOVERY FILES CANNOT BE FOUND OR THE FILES ARE CORRUPTED).  We have tried unpluging it removing the battery for a while pushing the power button 10 times etc. all the steps they say to try to reset the BIOS I have searched every youtube video searched google  I don't know what else to do. The only thing I havent done is the USB flash drive that is because for some odd reason HP doesn't have it on the support website to download if I could download the BIOS USB recovery drive to a USB it may work but I can't find it anywhere can someone please help me I don't know what else to do.  THANKS

Hi @SALING4

Sorry to see this. You are in a worst case scenario; power loss during a BIOS update.

HP offers some tips at this Site. I don't think HP offers a bootable USB BIOS recovery option for your PC. And, the PC may not have USB function if the BIOS is corrupted.

Download this BIOS update. See if you can create a USB BIOS recovery drive on a different PC. Try this drive if you can create it and your PC has USB function.

I would contact HP Support for assistance. HP would reprogram the BIOS, replace the BIOS chip, or replace the MB.

Have a local PC Tech take a look. Many Techs can program the BIOS even if the PC is "bricked". Give the Tech the downloaded BIOS file.

Regards
