I understand that the onscreen keyboard does not appear on the desktop screen of your HP Envy 20 series computer. I'll be glad to assist you with this case.

  • Did any software changes or updates take place on the computer?

 

While you respond to that, I recommend you to perform the following steps to bring up the onscreen keyboard:

Thanks. Getting a keyboard using settings worked.My product # is E8H31UA#ABA.No software changes that I know of or updates.

I'm glad that the onscreen keyboard worked using the settings. 

 

NOTE: To open the On Screen Keyboard from the sign-in screen, select the Ease of Access button in the lower-right corner of the sign-in screen, and then select On-Screen Keyboard.
