El;iteDesk 800 G1 Tower
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My EliteDesk 800 G1 TWR has been acting up and will not reset! I'm now trying to reinstall Windows from a USB flashdrive. However, after installing the ICO on the flashdrive, I need to adjust the BIOS so that the 800 boots from the flash drive.

I enter the BIOS via F10 but the flashdrive is not listed. What do I do?

Thank you.

Hi:

See if this works...have the flash drive in the USB port.

Turn on the PC, and immediately start tapping the ESC key to get the menu of options.

Select the F9 boot options menu, and from that select the USB flash drive, and press the enter key.

It should be listed under the EFI boot list and the Legacy boot list.

Best to boot/install from the EFI boot devices if you can.
