hi I'm missing my Windows 7 operating system and I'm trying to connect to the internet but it's kind of hard with no operating system I was wondering if anybody could help me so I can download or pay for some recovery software. sorry about the run on sentence.

I get how frustrating that can be. Since you don’t have an OS, you’ll probably need a bootable USB with Windows 7. If you don’t have recovery media, you might be able to find an ISO from Microsoft or use HP’s recovery options. Have you checked if HP still provides recovery software for your model?

The only place I know of where you will be able to get a W7 USB recovery drive for your notebook is from this vendor at the link below:
