Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Unable to upgrade win10 to 1909. After first boot it stopped and the error is:

update failed after first boot sysprep_specialize 0xC1900101 - 0x30018

I have gone through your Post and would like to help

 

First disable your Antivirus and run the Windows Update Troubleshooter https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4027322/windows-update-troubleshooter

 

If the issue persists try Resetting the Windows 10 Module and then try the update again

 

  • Type command prompt on the search bar then right click on the first result and select “Run as administrator”.
  • In the command prompt window type the following in order followed by pressing the enter key.
  • Type net stop bits then press enter.
  • Type net stop wuauserv then press enter.
  • Type net stop appidsvc then press enter.
  • Type net stop cryptsvc then press enter.
  • Type ren C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution SoftwareDistribution.old then press enter.
  • Type ren C:\Windows\System32\catroot2 catroot2.old then press enter.
  • Type net start bits then press enter.
  • Type net start wuauserv then press enter.
  • Type net start appidsvc then press enter.
  • Type net start cryptSvc then press enter.
  • Close the command prompt and restart your computer.

Keep me posted how it goes

Thank you for your suggested post.

I completely uninstalled the antivirus but didn't help.

I already tried these commands to reset Windows Update - no help

I tried troubleshooting Update - didn't help neither.

Update Assistance - no help

Downloaded the update and tried installing it manually - didn't help.
