HP Prodesk 400 G5 MT
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

I'm trying to downgrade OS from windows 10 64 bit to windows 10 32 bit, because I have a software that runs only in 32 bit. The problem is, when I'm trying to install windows 10 32-bit, the mouse and keyboard stops working after windows setup boots up.

Please help me resolve this issue. Thank you!

Hi

Does compatibility mode not work for that?

Have you considered Virtual Box?

Dual Booting?

Did you ever get this to work? We are experiancing the same.

We are experiencing the same issue with ProDesk 400 G5 SFF. 32-bit Windows installations or WinPE recovery systems lock up mouse and keyboard after startup.

32-bit Linux is even worse. They just freeze during the boot process (without any error message).

I guess this is a limitation of the CPU: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000006105/processors.html
