Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi!

My computer is showing an unknown device and when I try to update driver it says that windows could not find drivers for your device. This is the information shown under the device:

Device ACPI\INT33A3\2&daba3ff&1 requires further installation.

I am not at all good at tech and would be so grateful for any advice.

Thank you

Hi, @SZA1108

You need this driver for that device that I zipped up and attached below...

Download and unzip the file to its folder.

Do not do anything with the files in the folder.

Go to the device manager.  Click on the Unknown device needing the driver.

Click on the driver tab.  Click on Update Driver.

Select the Browse my computer for drivers option, and browse to the driver folder you unzipped.

Make sure the Include subfolders box is checked and the driver should install.

Here is a partial copy and paste of the driver setup information file which shows driver support for the hardware ID you posted.

@SZA1108 -- does your computer function normally without that Device ACPI\INT33A3 ?

Note that ACPI ==> Advanced Configuration and Power Interface

This is an interface to the "power" settings for the motherboard.

If you don't use the interface, then just ignore the "unknown driver".

It is quite different from not having a device-driver for your keyboard. Such a device-driver is 100% essential.

If Microsoft Windows Update cannot find the file, download & install & run the HP Support Assistant.

It will search HP's database, and may possibly find a device-driver.

You're very welcome.

Glad to have been of assistance.

That is a tough driver to find, and the only place I know of where it can be found, is on the Microsoft Update Catalog website.

However, if Windows Update doesn't automatically install the driver (which it usually doesn't), then you have to find it on the Microsoft Update Catalog website, and what I did to simplify the installation for you, was to extract the cabinet file you get when you download the file into a driver folder, so you could easily install the driver.
