Hello, community.
I have an HP Pavilion Gaming - TG01-1013ns with the following specifications:
- RAM: 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-2666 SDRAM
- Drives: 1 TB SATA HDD (7200 rpm) and 512 GB PCIe® NVMe™ M.2 SSD
- Processor: Intel Core i5-10400F
- Graphics Card: NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 1660 Super™ (6 GB GDDR6 dedicated)
- Motherboard: I believe it's 8767 A (SMVB), BIOS F3.0
- Operating System: Recently upgraded to Windows 11
I'm not an expert on computers, and I'm not sure if I'm managing the drives properly. Both internal drives are about 50% full. On these drives, I have programs, games, Windows files, and a few other things. I store most of my files on external drives: one main HDD 3.5 Seagate Expansion Desktop 10TB, another 512 GB SSD, and a smaller 1 TB HDD for backup.
I work in photography and video creation, and while my system works fine most of the time, sometimes it gets a bit slow.
I'm considering an upgrade but without spending too much money, since it's still serving me well at the moment. I'm also thinking about buying a less powerful laptop so I can work remotely from anywhere, leaving this PC as my main workstation.
What suggestions do you have to improve performance?
What would you upgrade? Any advice?
Thanks
