Product: Pavilion 27-a210 All-in-one
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
I am attempting to prepare for the upgrade to windows 11. It is telling me that my processor does not have the appropriate processor.
My existing processor specs are as follows:
Intel Core i7-7700T
- CPU speed: 2.9 GHz (3.8 GHz - max turbo boost)
- CPU cores: 4
- CPU Cache: 8 MB
- TDP: 35 W
- Integrated graphics: Intel HD graphics 630
The Recommended Requirements for the upgrade are as follows , which seems to be the same as what I already have::
Processor upgrade information- TDP: 35 W
- Socket type: LGA 1151
- Motherboard supports the following processor upgrades:ProcessorTDPIntegrated GraphicsIntel Core i7-7700T (Kabylake) 2.9 GHz Quad Core35 WIntel HD Graphics 630Intel Core i5-7400T (Kabylake) 2.4 GHz Quad Core35 WIntel HD Graphics 630Intel Core i3-7100T (Kabylake) 3.4 GHz Dual Core35 WIntel HD Graphics 630Intel Pentium G4560T (Kabylake) 2.9 GHz Dual Core35 WIntel HD Graphics 610

We can not address this as we have no control over what MS demands to install Win11 or what the various checking utilities say is required.
HOW are you determining that your processor is preventing the upgrade?
