Yes, 6.91 GB usable out of 8 GB is pretty normal.

Most of that memory went to support the onboard Radeon R4 graphics adapter which uses shared system memory.

The only other upgrades you could do to the PC would be to replace the 3.5" mechanical hard drive with a 2.5" solid state drive (SSD).

You would also need a 3.5" to 2.5" adapter to properly fit the 2.5" SSD if there isn't an option to install a smaller drive in the existing mount.

If you need an adapter this is the model I recommend because it is the same size as a hard drive.

You can replace the Realtek single band Wi-Fi adapter with this dual band AC model:

Realtek RTL8821CE 802.11 ac 1x1 Wi-Fi + Bluetooth 4.2 Combo Adapter (MU-MIMO supported) HP part # L17365-005.

If your PC has two antenna wires connected to the currently installed Realtek card, you can upgrade it to this model instead:

Realtek RTL8822BE 802.11ac 2 × 2 Wi-Fi + Bluetooth 4.2 Combo Adapter (MU-MIMO supported) HP part # 924813-855

Your PC only has one memory slot and the maximum memory the slot can support is 1 x 8 GB of DDR3L-1600 MHz memory.

Your PC's processor does not meet Microsoft's minimum W11 processor requirements of an AMD Ryzen 3xxx series processor and the processor cannot be upgraded as it is an integral part of the motherboard.

If you are happy with your PC, and if you are interested in doing an in-place upgrade from W10 > W11 24H2 on your PC as is, watch this video, which is the easiest way to do it in my opinion, and I have tried many different ways to do this during the last 3 years.

How to Install Windows 11 on Unsupported PC in 2025 (New Easiest Method, No CMD)

Download the W24H2 ISO file and use that (3rd option).

Download Windows 11

You can download the free 7-Zip file utility from the link below. The top line is for 64 bit.

7-Zip

You'll have to repeat this procedure each October when Microsoft rolls out the new builds because a PC that does not meet Microsoft's minimum W11 hardware requirements will never automatically get the update to the next build.

Other than that, your PC will continue to get the monthly cumulative and other updates.

That's only a minor inconvenience to have continued OS support beyond October of 2025.

I would upgrade the memory first before installing W11 because the minimum memory requirements is 4 GB and that will be barely adequate.

You may also want to replace the 3.5" mechanical hard drive with a better performing 2.5" SATA solid state drive (SSD).

If you want to do that, you will also need a 3.5" to 2.5" hard drive adapter so you can mount the smaller SSD where the current drive is mounted now.

Hello there,

Thanks for your suggestion. I bought 8GB RAM online but this size of RAM is larger than which is Installed in my PC(4GB RAM). Do you recommend any other model of RAM. I am attaching photos of both TAM’s

You're very welcome.

You need to buy an 8 GB DDR3L-1600 SODIMM memory chip that is used in most notebook PC's.
