HP Recommended

I had the same issue and for months I could not figure out what was happening, I tried the C++ correction and nothing changed, I tried reinstalling the DLLS but that did not help either. I was just about to give up or actually had given up thinking I will have to deal with the annoying pop-ups for ever BUT!!!!

I mistakenly clicked on the  icon of "CHAT' app in the taskbar and it prompted the message right away, which made me then realize that THAT WAS THE ISSUE!!! A SIMPLE APP WAS ASKING ME TO REINSTALL IT BECAUSE IT HAD BEEN CORRUPTED. I never knew that that "CHAT app" was pertaining to MICROSOFT TEAMS, so when i noticed all i had to do was to go to SETTINGS>ADD OR REMOVE PROGRAMS> SEARCH FOR MICROSOFT TEAMS> REPAIR (THEN REPEAT THE SAME SEQUENCE BUT INSTEAD OF REPAIRING I THINK I UNISTALLED AND THEN REINSTALLED) and boom!!!!! issue fixed.

 

It has been two days now that I have been restarting my computer free of pop ups. and honestly, I had forgotten how good does it feel when you fix something by yourself in your computer. I studied computer science years ago and do not practice at all. Just became another user but this little issue pushed me to understand my computer again. She was simply asking for a reinstall, a simple app, and here was I thinking logically and deeply on what it was.
