My computer won't wake from sleep mode with magic packet. WOL is enabled in BIOS, and enabled in the network adapter in device manager.  If I send a magic packet remotely, it turns on the monitor, which gives me a message that the computer is not on. Since the monitor comes on, I know the magic packet gets through, but why won't the computer wake from sleep mode?

Can't get computer to wake on LAN. WOL enabled in BIOS, and in Network adapter,  Send a magic packet wakes the display but not the computer
