Product: Envy 750-414
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have had this computer for less than 4 months. I am trying to figure out what Recovery (E) is because it is almost out of storage space and I have no idea what it is or what is being stored there.

I apologize in advance if this is a stupid question.  Thank you for any help.

Hi:

 

Not a stupid question at all...

 

That is the recovery partition, which is required to factory reset the PC in case you have to.

 

It is almost always full because HP creates the partition to be only as big as is needed to keep the recovery files on.

 

So, there is no need to be concerned as that is perfectly normal.

 

However, never save any files to that partition.
