My Windows Update seems to be failing because of the Intel Management Engine Driver.
I have currently installed version 2120.100.0.1085 from 2021 but on HP Support it is shown that all drivers are up to date.
Can I install the newest driver from https://www.intel.de/content/www/de/de/download/682431/intel-management-engine-drivers-for-windows-1...

This is the latest IMEI driver that I could find for HP PCs with the Intel 10th Gen core processors:
Intel Management Engine Driver
2514.7.16.0 03/20/2025
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp160001-160500/sp160442.exe
It appears to be the same version as the one on the Intel site.

I did make the entry as I filled out the form but as it seems the information wasn't submitted.
I have now added that.
HP Pavilion - TG01-1209ng
The Upgrade to 24h2 or 25h2 doesn't finalize.
Just at the final booting there is a rollback.
I even did a clean Windows In-Place Upgrade/Repair of my 23h2 and did run sfc, chkdsk and DISM.
I also did a BIOS Update through the HP Support Assistant APP. No further drivers are avalilabe through HP, but some drivers are not up to date and especially the mentioned (Intel Management Engine Driver) is reportet in the crash log as - as far as I can tell - the main culprit of the update stall.

Thank you for this quick and helpful response. I only found the whole package on Intel's website and feel much more confident about installing/updating a system component from the PC's vendor.
How do I find these drivers?
At the support page for my PC I get the information that no drivers are alvailable.
I do hope this driver will be compatible with my PC and that the Update will be succesful.
No matter what will happen : Many thanks and happy holiday

You're very welcome.
Generally, it isn't an issue to use the drivers from Intel, but how I found this driver was when I saw the specs for your PC, I went to a high-end HP business PC that has the equivalent processor and chipset as yours, which is the HP Elitedesk 800 G6 Microtower PC.
HP EliteDesk 800G6 TWR i5-105008GB/256PC (272Y1EA) Software and Driver Downloads | HP® Support
The problem is that HP only provides drivers for the consumer class PC's for maybe 3 years after the release date.
For the business class PC's, they seem to keep the drivers more current for around 5 years and maybe a bit more.
That is why I was able to find a more up to date version of the IMEI driver.
Feel free to update the chipset driver too because the one you have installed is probably out of date as well.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you too!

Thank you very much for this enlightening message. I will try it tomorrow — of course, with a restore point and backup.
I've been trying to update since March, on and off, and this will definitely be the last attempt.

Anytime, Sven.
Glad to have been of assistance.
If the driver updates don't work, you may have to back up your files onto a portable hard drive and clean install W11 25H2 using the Microsoft media creation tool.
