From my memory, Microsoft stopped Window Explorer from Windows 8. We have similar (or same) product called
Normally This PC will give overview of files/folders on your machine
I don't know what are you trying to find but This PC gives information of disk space.
a 'feature' like the disappearing clock? Sorry, I have no idea what it is.
