@yagabu

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).

If you are unfamiliar with how the Forum's private message capability works, you can learn about that here.

Thank you for visiting the HP Support Forum.

I managed to get in touch with a person at Microsoft who provided a new key and I now have the issue resolved. It would have been nice though if HP provided a way to contact them about this specific type of issue.

So I want to share what the agent from Microsoft told me so if anyone else has a simmilar issue. They said it had to do with the PID generated by the software. Apparently something went wrong with the way it got the KEY from bios. Therefor when it tried to activate with there (Microsoft's) servers, their was a discrepancy causing the errors. In doing so they had to take the Machine ID and generate a new KEY for the software so it would generate the proper PID and activate correctly.  Now I don't understand why the PID is involved with the KEY, but that is somewhat what they told me.
