Windows 10 upgrade

What is the best way to find out if I can run Windows 10 Home on my current desktop? Is there a program I can run that will test my system?

Hp does not provide drivers for your computer
To my knowledge, there are not the same tools that there were for windows 8
If you can, test with another hard drive
You must absolutely delete the recovery kit, if you have not done so, before "installing another system on the original hard drive.

Thank you. I really wanted to upgrade my h8-1280t to Windows 10. It has all the features that I like and some are not available in a new desktop. The only reason I considered moving to Windows 10 is because of updates. I use Norton 360 and update it daily. I wonder if this is sufficient if I decide to stay with Windows 7. What do you think?

If I decide to install Windows 10 I will probably use a new hard drive, that way I can go back if I need to.

Indeed the problem is that windows 7 will become obsolete
We will still be able to use it, but no more updates, and it may be like for other systems, some programs may not work anymore.
We especially encourage you to buy other computers, because during the upgrades Windows 10 some computers do not work correctly!

I have a h9 1228ef in version 1909 for the moment, it works, but I do not know yet if ok, for the other versions
