Hi, I have a HP Pavilion x360 Convertible 14-dy1xxx and I am having trouble with my ports. I am running Windows 11 Home OS, Version 22H2.
I went to my Device Manager and found that my ports where not installed so I went to Device Manager, Action, Add Legacy Hardware, selected install the hardware that I manually select from a list (advanced), I selected and downloaded the Communications Port (COM3) and Multiport Communications Port (COM4).
These both are giving me yellow triangles with a ! in the middle of them. When I double click on either of them I get the following message:
'Windows cannot determine the settings for this device. Consult the documentation that came with this device and use the Resource tab to set the configuration. (Code 34)'
What can I do to fix this?
What other information do you require?

I am running Windows 10 Home Version 10.0.19045 Build 19045
I got a Windows update (or two or three) and hadn't noticed my USB com port not working. I also went to Device Manager to load Legacy drivers since Com / LPT ports was gone. They came back, restarted the PC several times and the port has the code 34 problem and the exclaimation point. It is my only usb port so please hurry! Thanks!
