HP Desktop - M01-F1002na

Hello.

Recently got in a mess with things, and had to try going back to an earlier Restore point.

For some reason now, HP Support Assistant seems to have lost the history I had with installing drivers.

Therefore I can't be sure the drivers I downloaded and installed before, actually have been applied.

There were five of them:

HP Connection Optimiser

Intel Chipset Utility Installation and Driver

Intel High-Definition (HD) Graphics Driver

Intel Management Engine Interface (MEI) Driver

Realtek High-Definition (HD) Audio Driver

I have tried HP Support Assistant and it assures me I am up to date, but I need to be sure.

Also, how do I pull up the HP website for Software and Drivers for this PC (it is out of warranty, but I should still be able to ?)

Thanks.

To Verify Installed Drivers, Check driver status and versions without HP Support Assistant.

- Open Device Manager (right-click Start > Device Manager).
- Expand categories like "System devices" (for Chipset/MEI), "Display adapters" (Intel HD Graphics), "Sound, video and game controllers" (Realtek Audio), and "Network adapters" (Connection Optimizer).
- Right-click each relevant device > Properties > Driver tab: Note the date, version, and provider. No yellow exclamation marks means it's loaded properly.

Note- If you can't find some of them, then it can be integrated somewhere else properly. Device manager will show unknown devices with exclamatory mark if any driver is missing

Windows update automatically install all missing drivers and update if available so there's nothing to worry.

I used to be able to access Software and Drivers downloads from the HP support page.

Now I can not ?

May be due to age or server issue. You can rely on windows update or ho support assistent instead.

Bizarre, but.............

Tried the EN GB HP support website, and wouldn't let me.  But on this page instead:

https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/hp-desktop-pc-m01-f1000i/model/37719669?sku=1D9Y4EA&serialnumbe...

It would give me the drivers...........
