Windows update and windows pc health check always showed this pc (HP EliteDesk 800 G4 - win10 pro x64 22H2) as compatible with windows 11. However, since yesterday windows update shows the message this pc doesn't meet requirements for windows 11, but when I run windows pc health check says it does compatible with windows 11. Does anyone know what this is about. Thanks.

Hi:
If the PC has an Intel 8th generation core processor, it should meet the W11 hardware requirements.
Two reasons why you may be getting a message that the PC does not meet the requirements:
1. The TPM 2.0 security device is disabled in the BIOS.
If it is enabled, you should see it listed in the device manager under a Security Devices category in the device manager.
2. Secure boot is disabled in the BIOS.
If Windows is installed in UEFI mode, then you can turn on the Secure boot setting in the BIOS.
If Windows is installed in Legacy mode, then you would have to reinstall W10 in UEFI mode before you can enable Secure boot.
How to tell...
Run the Windows system information app.
Scroll down the list and you will see a BIOS Mode line. That needs to indicate UEFI.
If it indicates Legacy, then you will need to reinstall W10 in UEFI mode.
Further down the list you will see a Secure Boot State line. That needs to indicate On.
In conclusion in order for your PC to fully meet the requirements to run W11 it needs:
1. An Intel 8th Generation Core processor or newer
2. TPM 2.0 security device present and enabled.
3. Windows must be installed in UEFI mode.
4. Secure Boot must be enabled.

Interesting...
I have no idea why you are getting that message.
Have you tried upgrading the PC by clicking on the blue W11 Installation Assistant button at the link below?
Download Windows 11 (microsoft.com)
If that fails, see this discussion at the link below for how to install W11 and bypass the hardware checks.

If the in-place upgrade fails, you should be able to clean install W11 using the bootable W11 installation flash drive you made with Rufus.
