I replace the original SSD with the recommended one. But I'm unable to get my Windows operating system. I tried using a usb. However that didn't work. Is there anyway I can get Windows on to this new SSD
Update: The usb method worked. I used the OS Windows 10 because that's what I originally had. (Once installed if done in time the system will update to 11) Make sure the usb is CLEAN and big enough to hold large amounts of space. Once downloaded to your usb transfer to the intended laptop. You will most likely have to format the disk in order to install. I used this video to help me. If the link doesn't work (How to Convert MBR to GPT During Windows 10/8/7 Installation by MDTechVideos)
I used a video telling me how to format MBR to GBT. Without having to download anything. I did it all on the laptop with no OS installed. Just the flash drive.

If you cannot get the Recovery Tool to work, you can always use the Microsoft Creation tool to make the install media for Windows. Here are the instructions on how to use the Microsoft Media creation tool for either Windows 11 or Windows 10.
Create installation media for Windows - Microsoft Support
Pick which version is desired (Windows 11 or Windows 10) then follow the directions to create the installation media.
