Solved: HP Compaq 8200 Elite SFF (BIOS Firmware update?) - HP Support Community - 8633691

 

If you don't have Windows installed in UEFI mode, do not update the BIOS beyond version 02.28, or it will take over 2 minutes for the PC to restart from a warm boot.

 

If Windows is installed in UEFI mode, you can update it to v02.33.

 

ROM Firmware for 8200 Elite and 6200 Pro Business PCs (J01) 

 

Version:  00.02.33
 
 
Fix and enhancements:

- Provides latest Intel Microcode versions 0x2F for Sandy Bridge processors.

NOTE: Due to security changes, after loading this BIOS, older versions cannot be installed.
