i received an upgrade message to update the bios on my computer.  I accepted the upgrade and now my computer has crashed.

The message is

"HP Bios update

The system bios recovery failed

unable to open BIOS signature file"

Hi,

 

Try all BIOS recovery options at this HP site (Link). A USB BIOS recovery may not work on your PC.

 

You may need HP factory service if you cannot recover the BIOS.

 

Avoid HP Support Assistant BIOS updates in the future.
