black screen

i bought this x24c monitor few days ago, while i m using it gives me randomly a black screen sometimes for about 2-3 seconds

any help? tips or idea how to fix it?

If you purchase a new automobile, you are not expected to be a mechanic to fix it.

The same is true for a monitor.

Either take it back to the store that sold it to you, and exchange it,

or contact HP Support, to exercise the 12-month HP Warranty on all brand-new HP electronics.

If the replacement monitor has the same issue, then more trouble-shooting can be attempted, either by you, or while talking to a HP Support consultant, over the telephone.
