Microsoft Windows Server 2008 (64-bit)

can i install windows 7 or windows server 2008 r2 on HP 290 G2 Microtower PC and need the drivers for this machine cause i didn't find driver for windows 7

Hi:

 

The only operating system you can install on that PC is W10 64 bit.

 

You wouldn't even be able to get W7 to install no matter how hard you tried.

 

Intel did not develop any W7 drivers for the USB 3.1 ports or the graphics.

 

Not having USB 3.1 drivers prevents W7 from installing.

 

The USB 2 ports won't work until after the operating system is installed, and since W7 can't be installed, the USB 2 ports can't work.
